Intimate Elopement at 99 Sudbury

When I was first pulling together ideas for this elopement shoot, I knew I wanted it to be two things: one, as real as possible; and two, insanely sexy. Focusing on “touch”, I wanted to bring in all kinds of textures. The grooms shoes were a dark suede, as were the menus, place cards & the envelope liner for the elopement announcement. The dining chairs were also a dark suede to help round out the design. Velvet was brought in throughout, using this texture in the backdrop of the ceremony, the custom bridal cape, our grooms jacket, ribbons, pillows, and the table runner. Lastly, fur helped bring that cozy vibe into the design, including on the dining and sweets table. To help achieve this look I brought in fruit which had a similar fur or suede texture to it. My favourite thing about this shoot is just how natural and real it looked, and all of the vendors played a huge role in helping achieve that realness.
